While I'm really pretty lazy sometimes, I can't do without my exercise. It's the only thing that keeps me sane these days. If I don't do it, I just drop into depression and just generally get a really, really bad attitude.
That's really pertinent that you mention depression, because that's the other outcome of inactivity that is mentioned in the article. And I've suffered from depression for large tracts of my adult life (I lost more than half of my 30s to it) and this corresponds closely with the stage when my life became more sedentary.
I really need to correct this or I can see myself falling prey to dementia as well. It's a vicious circle, though - if you're depressed you don't have the energy to exercise. I'd better get started with some prophylactic activity right away!
I don't do anything!... I have to get off my butt and start doing something soon! you know what's interesting though... my mum walked 1-2 hours every day for years, right up until she came to live with us... I can't figure it out!
This journal records a race to deal with my late Mother's dementia before losing my own mind. The really dramatic events took place between August and December 2007

You and me both!
This is great. "Being a slob." That's the technical term.
